The Institute of Learning was founded in 1998 by Kiriakos Vasilomanolakis, though it has been in operation since the early 1990s.
The Institute was founded because we firmly believe that everyone’s life is a long journey of continuous learning.

A successful learner will be able to learn throughout their life and hopefully will help others to learn easily.
Our commitment is to train young students to learn easily and to become autonomous personalities. The presentation of the super-learning seminars, on a regular basis, started in the early 1990s.

We train young students in cognitive skills, we conduct small scale research in applications of Psychology in EFL teaching and learning. We, also, train educators in humanistic education, inform parents and publish handbooks that promote learning.

Director of the Institute is Kiriakos Vasilomanolakis, M.Ed.-Life Long Learning, columnist in the daily newspaper ‘Haniiotika Nea’ and the monthly ‘Enimerosi PALSO’.

The Institute is situated at 1912 Square in Hania. It has a lecture room, a computer lab and a lending library.
